Here is an example of my cover letter writing skills.

I have recently completed the Administrative Professional program at Vancouver Community College. I have gained the knowledge and skills that will allow me to contribute to the smooth operation of your department.

 

Through this intensive program, I acquired a solid foundation of skills in:

  • Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Document formatting – letters, reports, memorandums, agendas, meeting minutes, and itineraries
  • Effective proofreading – proofread my work and the work of others for errors

 

My work experience has helped me develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I have a strong sense of business ethics and analytical, organizational, and time management skills. My experiences in dealing with the public will be an asset to your organization.
